I just watched it, and Greta's question was focusing on the actual moment when the wall came down. Instead of taking all the credit as Greta was trying to get him to do, he mentioned other people that were instrumental AT THE ACTUAL TIME when the wall came down. Would it have been nice to talk more about what led up to that moment? Sure, but that's not what the question was. An earlier question did involve negotiations he did as Reagan's VP to get the Pershing missiles in West Germany. Bush did say that was a very important step.

Again, it would have been great for Bush to heap more praise on Reagan, but the question was about what happened at the time of the wall coming down while Bush I was president. I think you are making a bit much of his answer to the question.
