Reminds me of a movie recommendation: “The Lives of Others”. Excellent, rent it if you haven’t seen it.

The "Lives of Others" is simply one of the best thriller/drama movies I've seen in years.

Another is the Chinese movie "Blind Shaft". Though a bit harder to understand, very eye opening.
