Call me skeptical. Newt has bedded far too many socialists of late for me to take him seriously as a conservative of late. If he had come down on the correct side of issues such as a man made global warming, government schooling (hanging out with Al Sharpton and Arne Duncan are non-starters in my book) and not endorsed a socialist in the recent NY 23 race, I’d consider him to be a real conservative, instead of someone who believes, as he put it, that electing “Democrat lite” candidates is the “future of the GOP.”
Newt knows history, and Newt sees the wave coming...we’re coming to take our Constitution back from the socialists. When the wave ebbs Newt will ride out on it like all politicians...
