To: All
Will You
Let this holy day be one of inward contemplation
of self appraisal, asking how He would see you
Admit your faults, the self seeking gratification
first step in the humbling task we each must do
We are but the fickle children of a patient Parent
who waits for us to see the love we are held in
Waiting for us to now awaken to the truth He sent
waiting to lift us from the stain and pain of sin
Be not so proud, for we are weak and oft a fool
valuing trinkets when offered riches beyond gold
Lift thy mortal eyes to a higher one, be not a tool
keep the covenant with Him as once we did of old

Johnn, I am so moved by this inspired poem this morning.
You need to publish that. It speaks straight to the heart.
