In an October 28, 2009 House Judiciary Committee hearing, Congressman Steve King questions NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on comments he made regarding Rush Limbaugh.

I listened to it in its entirety today and it was pretty sweet. What I would like to see more of - including this kind of nailing of a witness under oath - is more assertive responses by witnesses in front of blow-holes like Barney Frank and Al Franken. Get those schmucks under oath (when they testify for the purpose of commemorating National Avacsdo Grower’s Month, etc.) and then sandbag them a la King.

There’s a sentiment out there that Goodell wasn’t “prepared” to answer King’s question, as if Goodell needed to rehearse in order to explain why a minority investor in an NFL ownership bid was denied at Goodell’s doing. The excuses flow forth.
Yes, he is married to her. I think I remember Shep Smith mentioning that one day on his show.
