I think we will increasingly need to find off-shore locations to host content. With the way things are going, we will eventually have more liberties with data centers located in China, Russia or Iran than here in the states.

You Tube has always banned people they do not like - numerous flaps made them recant somewhat, but now they have a law that supports their leftist ideology. Get used to it, or find a different service.

Good point! Perhaps the UN hate speech efforts will restrict that possiblity as well.

I feel sure that this is just the beginning.
They will cut guys like Savage very slowly, one at a time.

If I recall, the old tick is to cut the air off slowly till everyone is asleep.

If I were out to ban “hate speech” I’d fine any local node server for distributing it. An offshore host won’t work well if the DNS servers, backbone routers, and local nodes get big fines for “distributing hate speech”.
