It's time for Speaker Gingrich to change the course of history one more time.

Newt ... you're on the wrong side.

You need to admit it. Climb down, and call publicly for Scuzzy to withdraw.

For the good of the Republican Party.

Tell her to stop. Do it.

For America.

Better to stop and correct an obvious mistake than to compound it repeatedly because of pride.

Newt has already gone over to the dark side. Ever since his time with Hillary and San Fran Nan, he’s been a changed man. He’s gone DIABLO all the way now. No point in looking for anything good from him anymore.

If Newt is more REPUBLICAN than Conservative, then he is not wrong .. (IN HIS VIEW).

If Newt is more Conservative than REpublican.. he owes EVERYONE an APOLOGY and FAST.

Agreed. He can’t pretend Hoffman is being a spoiler anymore.

What’s he going to say if Hoffman wins? That the sacred principle of the primacy of local county party officials is violated, so the result wasn’t ideal?

But, I do want to suggest one thing. A lot of us appreciate what Newt brought to the table in ‘94. He was a serious upgrade over the Bob Michel types. He is intelligent, knows history, and can help frame the debate in helpful ways sometimes. Many of us were rooting for him to dump the futurism/globalism and embrace full-throated movement conservatism across the board. Personally, I was gladdened when he converted to Catholicism.

But a LOT OF PEOPLE HATE HIS GUTS.

If conservatives as a whole are going to vote for the conservative candidate, Gingrich’s voice on this may well repel repel some folks from Scozzafava. Getting them to vote Hoffman and not Owens to spite him. He may be motivating the people who hate him to vote for Hoffman, or to stay home. Just a thought.

Maybe Newt’s 5th (?) wife Callista is a liberal. He talks about he all the time. I think he is 63 years old and she is 27.

I emailed this to Newt a couple of days ago:

.

Newt,
You are the ONLY elected official (beside Ronaldus Magnus) to whom I have ever contributed cash.
That was during your righteous rise to Speaker.

I have watched Renewing American Civilisation three times plus.

When you resigned, I quit the GOP.

When you joined with Sharpton, I was flabbergasted.

Now, to put it quite mildly, I am worried sick about your stance on Scossafava.

She is a Liberal, what!!

I am nearly convinced you are not mentally competent.

Give me some rationale here, or I'll be actively against you very soon.

I (and many others I know) am very close to blowing you a bitter 'kiss off',

I have not quite written him off, but he has lost his way, IMHO.

Newt is not and never was a conservative. He is and was interested in power and used conservatism to gain it.

“Newt is wrong. Newt knows it. Everyone knows it. Newt should do the right thing.”

Newt may not always have the same infallible insight we do.

Newt may not even realize his inability to be infallible like us.

We speak here for everyone.

Rab figures Newt will do the best he can. He is a pretty good man.
