Isn’t it great? Do you live in the city of Manila or one of the provinces. I think living in the provincial towns are much more enjoyable than living in Manila.

I have never been to Manila, and would not live in any big city.
When I flew in for a one month visit in August of last year, and when I came to live in January, my flight was from Vienna to Cebu city, with only one stop in Doha, Qatar.
I live in a nice small town, on a beach, 2 hours south of Cebu city.
There are a few other FReepers living here in the Philippines.
If you have the right attitude, and can accept life in a third world country, this is GREAT.
