Guess his shift key wasn’t working.
Hate when that happens!!!
Some of us will be sympathetic here. Given more urgent & unpleasant ongoing life matters to deal with, one could overlook the requirement to sign up - it’s not like anyone is REQUIRED to make sure YOU know about it. Heck, some wish they _hadn’t_ signed up.
Get a lawyer to clear it up (insofar as it can be). Call the Selective Service board and ask what can be done. Sign up already.
View it as a problem to be solved, and solve it in a matter-of-fact way. Just do what needs to be done. Be proactive.
LOL
He should blame Jimmy Carter. Under Nixon, the draft was ended, but Carter started the registration requirement. I think the reason was to put some fear into the Soviets when they invaded Afghanistan.
Yeah, but he raises an interesting point in the original post. You register for the Selective Service around your 18th birthday, and not after your 25th, but he was in jail (supposedly) from age 17 to age 26...and men in jail are not supposed to register, only within 30 days after they get out. So if he was in the graybar hotel for the entire period of time that he was liable to register with Selective Service (with no breaks or releases), how’s that handled?

32 yrs old...last crime over 12 yrs ago...off probation and needs a job...military now accepts felons...i say sign up today....that should take care of all the problems....
LOL!
I honestly think that AxelMite-whatever had a real problem. He mentioned his fox was a gay furry and didn’t seem to find that unusual.
I have no idea how he found FR and why he posted those threads.
You may have missed it, but he put in a vanity thread asking how to be removed from FR. He thought “furry-furry” was a better board.
Needless-to-say, the Admin at the time removed him.
I just checked myself, haven’t thought about it in years. I certainly don’t doing it on my 18th birthday, but that’s what it says I did.
zotta
Yeah, it’s cat fud.
I’m still searching for the world’s smallest violin to play. It must be with Deb’s green sweater.
I disagree. This run-on paragraph is a crime of literature. You should go turn yourself in.
That’s odd, we are almost the same age, and I don’t know how you could have missed information on Selective Service. It was on every tenth commercial, every school I went to- public and private had posters and as Jr’s and Sr’s, we were reminded constantly. When I applied for college, it was one of the first things we were asked (and I didn’t apply for financial aid so it wasn’t just part of that..)
Today you might. You don’t even have to be “bi”—you can just be “polar”, i.e. manic 99% of the time. And thank you for noticing the finesse I displayed in giving him an answer!

I remember those names from long ago. What happened to them?

I saw that worthless opus. I knew he was around the bend early on, but good entertainment. He accused Petronski of “Fursecution” ROFL.
It's like listening to the teletubbies read Kant in german.
