if bowling is not a sport, how can sitting up in a stand and shooting down onto a feed trough be considered a sport.

No "baiting" allowed for deer during any season in Minnesota.

Try doing it sometime. And who said bowling wasn't a sport?

My family have been bow hunting for 3 generations. Its not easy to hit anything with a bow....try it sometime...Wind drift can take you off target, and inch can mean a complete miss......a branch cracking sends the deer off running. Not easy. good on this hunter, venison fixed right is better than beef.......

Iirc baid is illegal in MN. But even in states where bait is allowed it is next to impossible for anyone who isn’t well disciplined in stealth, scent control, patience, and nerve to shoot a wiley, wise, monster buck. The sport is in the many hours of practice and repetition that finally culminate in a trophy kill.

I don’t really care if anyone believes my favorite sport is a “sport”, I know for a fact no one who hasn’t put in the time to learn and the discipline to do it right will be a success.
