Every teachers loungue in American should have a big sign that reads:
“ANY TEACHER, ADMINISTRATOR OR OTHER STAFF MEMBER CONVICTED OF ANY TYPE OF SEXUAL ACTIVITY WITH A STUDENT, WHETHER CONSENSUAL OR NOT, WILL BE GIVEN A MANDATORY DEATH SENTENCE”
Teachers should know, and be constantly reminded, that the students are absolutely, postitively, 100%, out of bounds, that doing anything of a sexual nature with a student is the worst thing than can do. If a student (even if over 18) literally throws himself/herself at a teacher, that teacher should know that his/her life is in danger, if he/she doesn’t RUN from the situation.
“Teaching is an isolating profession...”? You have time away from work, you have other adult teachers to talk to, and since when is ANY type of sexual activity appropriate in the work place?
I guess we are just going to hell in a hand basket ( as Grandma used to say)....Man this world is getting sicker by the day
