Chris Wallace Nails McAuliffe with His Own Words Calling Fox News "Fair and Balanced" - Video

Here is video of Karl Rove and Terry McAuliffe debating the White House strategy of attacking Fox News.

Rove said he believes Obama's White House is dominated by "Chicago-style politics." If they don't like what a reporter says, they "keep score" and seek to get back at them.

McAuliffe said "people are annoyed" that "Fox" did not broadcast Obama's speech on Health Care to the nation. Actually, Fox News carried Obama's speech - it was the Fox Entertainment network that did not.

Rove said it is "over the top" for the White House to refer to Fox News as "the enemy." He said it was "demeaning" to the Presidency for Obama's White House to treat Fox News in this way.

Wallace nailed McAuliffe by playing a clip that showed him congratulating Fox News during the campaign last year for being "Fair and Balanced" toward Hillary Clinton in her nomination battle with Barack Obama. . . (VIDEO)

I was watching this on my flight from Denver to Salt Lake yesterday. (Watching the news while you fly was a new thing for me). Chris Wallace destroyed that guy while Carl Rove just sat there with a sly grin on his face. It is pretty hard to defend oneself against video evidence.

This political war against Fox News is unconscionable behavior by a WH administration. They’re just a corrupt bunch of Chicago-style thugs. I hope they all end up doing the perp walk in the not-too-distant future.

More interestingly, McAuliffe had to destroy his own credibility to spin his way out of that comment by saying essentially he would say anything to help his client, even if he didn't really mean it or believe it. Meltdown....

Liberals never seem to gauge the unintended consequences of their actions. Among the consequences that could accrue to them by virtue of declaring Fox as the enemy.....

1-It allows the words "Nixon" and "Obama" to be reasonably used in the same sentence.

2-It causes people to instinctively think of the other TV news outlets, and call to question THEIR ideological stance. Let's remember, all this is happening when a large part of the voting public is feeling a bit duped about Obama, and just who sold us this bill of goods?

3-Fox has millions of viewers, not all of them libs, who are having their intelligence insulted daily....and they VOTE.

I hate it when that happens.
Despite Mr. Nixon's numerous short-comings (meddling with the economy via price controls, and other RINOish policies) - it was clear that he loved his Country and was not working actively to subvert it.
The only reasonable comparison between the two is to contrast how they were treated by the mainstream media.
Mr. Nixon dealt with a media that had a pathological hatred for him, and engineered a coup by whipping up a frenzy over something that was effectively a misdemeanor ... Covering up for some clowns that busted into a campaign office of candidate who was going to get smashed in the election...
Mr. Obama deals with a media that has a pathological love affair with him - and which refuse to do any credible background investigations, or to criticize (or to allow criticism of) their idol...

I saw this yesterday and couldn’t believe that McAuliffe basically admitted to being a liar and acted as if it wasn’t a shameful thing to be.
