I’m looking for the bible that says same sex marriages are equal to heterosexual married couples morally.

I’m looking for the passage that says we absolve ourselves of voluntarily giving charitable contributions whenever we pay our taxes to Big Government.

Trying to look up the quotes where Jesus said that Christians are obligated to vote for socialist politicians.

These are the claims they’ve made.

“Be not unequally yoked” [2 Cor 6:14a] obviously refers to marriage; as many commentaries point out; and, since man and woman are different it is OBVIOUSLY advocating gay marriage. [/SARC]

>I’m looking for the passage that says we absolve ourselves of voluntarily giving charitable contributions whenever we pay our taxes to Big Government.

“And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also.” [Mt 5:40] In this passage Jesus is obviously citing the government’s powers in something that is OBVIOUSLY an issue of “Social Justice” which then equates personal-giving and government-forced-giving. [/SARC]

“Therefore, I say unto you, render unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s.” [Mt 22:21a] Because Caesar could impose taxes on God’s chosen people, the Israelites, paying taxes was considered by some to be unfaithful to God; however, Jesus shows us clearly our rulers do have some rights to rule over the people... therefore, your ruling class demands that all votes for non-incumbents should be deemed unpatriotic, illegal, and invalid. [/SARC]

Yes, they are fairly twisted, illogical, and unfounded claims. I have given a small sample of what twisted “reasonings” might produce them and ‘founding’ verses.

{Comments appreciated.}
