Well, he has part of it invested in Haliburton stock.
One of my first on-line debates was on an AOL message board too. I decided to go to one after 9/11 to start being more outspoken and involved in debates. This guy kept saying how terrible the U.S. was. Basically saying that we provoked 9/11 and deserved it. He was a muslim living in the U.S. so I asked him why he lives here if he hates it so much and thinks it’s such a terrible place. His answer was seared into my brain forever “to kill you”. Only a few people on that board confronted him. The rest were his liberal allies or fellow jihadists or something I guess and said nothing. I knew there and then the level of hatred coming from the left. They hate us more than they do the terrorists, make no mistake about it.
That's exactly what I saw. He sat there and sighed and smirked and snorted as if that was some kind of intelligent rebuttal. When he did speak it was mostly smarmy put downs. The few times he tried to make an actual point his logic was so pathetic you could drive a tank through the holes in it.
It is amazing and sad that so many people are so shallow that they think MM is making valid points. I suspect a lot of his fans know very well that he is an idiot and his arguments are baloney but he fits their agenda.
When I debate a liberal, when I get to the bottom I go back to the top of the slide, where I stop and I turn and I go for a ride until I get to the bottom and I debate them again.
