Here in Indy we’re choking on the aftertaste of the Colts new $700+ mil palace. It was built on the premise of “nothing’s too good for the taxpayers”.
The operating costs are much higher than projected.
The city is laying off minions in an attempt to cut costs.
Interestingly, the Colts owner popped up as #347 on the richest people list this year.
To my knowledge, the sports team is his only significant source of income.

If NYC can build a Mets stadium for 1 billion it should only be half that in Indianapolis. 700 million is high
