Thanks for the correction, glad it wasn't the way I remembered it. NZ is the most beautiful and the most varied place I have ever seen and we went pretty much all over it. Any kind of scenery you want to see is only a few miles away. Snow covered mountains, beaches, rocky shores, thick jungle, grass covered hills, lakes, rushing rivers or desert mountains, NZ has them all.
