My favorite episode:”Time Enough at Last”
My favorite as well. Poor Burgess.

The next day, perhaps the next week...

In the next few days he will see the same thread again and again...

FYI: You can watch many classic episodes of the Twilight Zone free online at this CBS link below. Unfortunately, they do not have this one with William Shatner available ('Nightmare at 20,000 Feet'), because it was from season 5 and they only have vids for the first 3.
Note that on each of the 3 'seasons pages' there are 2 pages of episodes listed (click the little arrow for the 2nd page):
Rod Serling went on a few years after Twilight Zone to do another interesting series with similar themes called — THE NIGHT GALLERY. I wonder whether anyone loves that series. I did.
Ya .. I remember Night Gallery too
Thank You
There were several episodes of someone wishing for something, getting it, only to find a fly in the ointment.
Let’s see...the one about the jockey (lost his license to ride?), wants to “be big,” gets his wish but his license reinstated.
The one about the gangster who went to hell, and gets away with the crime every time.
Wasn’t there one about the guy who commits murder, but can’t be electrocuted, but then his lawyer gets him life in prison?
The guy who wants to beat the ghost of the billiard legend, but then has to defend the title against all comers.
I’m sure there are others.
Well, besides “be careful what you wish for”,and it punishes Mr. Bemis for his anti social-behavior.
