TWINS WIN!!!TWINS WIN!!!TWINS WIN!!!TWINS WIN!!!TWINS WIN!!!TWINS WIN!!!TWINS WIN!!!TWINS WIN!!!
So many joyless FReepers out tonight.
That’s too bad....
No idea......
LOL - my wife’s a Twins fan. I’m not yet sure if she knows about the outcome of the game (she works nights and was sleeping while the game was being played). I work out of town during the week and haven’t talked to her yet. She’s gonna be quite surprised.
Tell her that Mike Redmond hit for the cycle....
That will get her interest!!!!
Joyless? You’re certainly joy-full. All caps and all exclamations all the time...
So the Twins won. Did they win a game, a pennant, a series, or just a coin toss?
“If youre interested, I know several ESL teachers.”
I am an ESL teacher :)
Cool. I’ll let her know. Too bad the Giants couldn’t put more runs on the board - Hope Lincecum isn’t lost to another team.
Amazing game. It was well worth the drive to see it in person.
Why the hell are the Twins giving up the amazing home field advantage that is the Metrodome for 15 rain-outs per year in their new stadium?
If you don’t like good news stories and you don’t follow sports.....just stay away from the Chat postings.
“all the time...”
Nice try.
It’s tough watching baseball in a place made for football...
Well, good luck with that.
Well now we know why the Rangers got rid of Laird, geez he was atrocious at the plate tonight.
Too many chances to score pissed away by the Tigers. One of the biggest choke jobs of all time.
The Tigers had the talent advantage....and the Twins had the crowd and the dome....
Classic.
(what a frigg'n train wreck)
Holy moly.
What a game.
Congrats to the Twins!
(I used to work for the Twins in the late 70s and lived a mile from the old Metropolitan Stadium in Bloomington)
The battle-hardened Twins now take on the millionaires from the Bronx. Go Twins!
I take in a few Rock Cat games a year. Always have a good time. They draw about 5,000 a game. Last year I caught a foul ball hit by Toby Gardenhire, Ron Gardenhire’s son.
