Obama's mistakes are a warning sign
CNN ^ | 10-5-09 | Julian E. Zelizer

PRINCETON, New Jersey (CNN) -- During the past few months, two events have revealed a side of President Obama that we knew little about. First came his remark in July when he said at a press conference that the police who arrested Harvard Professor Henry Louis Gates had acted "stupidly."

The unrehearsed remark triggered controversy right at a time when Democrats needed to focus public attention on health care.

And last week, at a climactic moment for the health care debate in the Senate, Obama suddenly went to make a personal pitch for holding the 2016 Summer Olympics in Chicago, Illinois.

You’ve got to be kidding me ... his last two mistakes are a warning sign? Give me a break. He said judge him by those he surrounds himself with ... communists! Wouldn’t that have been the warning sign! What about all his lovely promises that he hasn’t kept?!! What about his plan for
Afghanistan? (What of it ... it is apparent he never had one.) What about cramming all of this sh*t down our throats.

These two actions as warning signs make me laugh!

0bama and his staff pictured the outcome as him coming back covered in personal glory for something he had little to do with. That's got to be tempting. But he had to win. And all this advice from CNN amounts to is "don't lose."

This may also be a little proactive spin for the inevitable criticism that he's taking too long to make a decision on Afghanistan. The problem with Mr. Calm and Deliberate there is the very same one - and there even "don't lose" won't be enough. He has to win.

“The problem with Mr. Calm and Deliberate”

But remember that passing health care legislation, unread, was necessary to avert a crisis in public health, but our young men fighting and dying is not a presidential imperative.

I don’t care what CNN says or does, it should share the same fate as the failed ‘bama presidency.

Everything about the affirmative action president is a warning sign. Liberals and Democrats have sold the nation out for loose tennis shoes and a welfare check.

Not really. This commentary is a more Obamanambla love with a headline designed to attract the majority who are doubting what they elected. Smoke and mirrors....nothing to see here. Don’t give CNN the traffic.

Those are the only two mistakes Obama has made? Show me something he’s done right.

I guess I expect comments like this from lib historians. They mildly criticize Obama for mistakes that have no bearing on the problems of the country as a whole, and fail to analyze or consider the radical changes Obama is trying to implement. Because they assume everybody is for these changes. What amazes me is how these professional critics of society always fail to see the forest for the trees. Living in their academic bubble, they never realize how average Americans look at the world and the radical changes Obama is trying to foist on the country. It’s a far different look than the view Zelizer has.

He said judge him by those he surrounds himself with...

Terrorists (Bill Ayers & wife)

Criminals (Bill Ayers & wife, Rezko, ACORN, SEIU)

Thugs (see above)

Communists (Bill Ayers & wife, Jeremiah Wright, Van Jones, Valerie Jarret, and the Cambridge professor)

Racists (Jeremiah Wright, Van Jones, Michelle Obama, and the Cambridge professor)

Julian forgot to mention Obama’s screw up with Brown and the Queen. The “cool and thoughtful demeanor” is a media creation.
