Was up wearly today, and caught the 6 AM EDT re-run of the BOR show. When it first started, I admit I was dissappointed to find that Juan Williams was subbing for BOR, so I just kept the show on, while at the PC, figuring I'd change the channel when the impetus of being bored would provide the impetus to c hange the channel... But as the show progressed, i found that Juan Williams was hosting like I've never hearf him host before. He was engaging, even handed and wouldn't let the guests get away with filibustering either the Left or Right view p[oint. It was as good of an hour of hosting as I've seen from even some A team hosts have done. Not one grimace of boredom from me during the whole show. I shall have to pay attention to Williams more, to find out if it was just a fluke or the material covered, or if Williams has developed some "hosting" game.
Clarence Page - are you listening? You fall into that category, too, sir.
What you smokin’ man? Must be some good stuff to make Juan look good.
There are two Juan Williams.
Lately his willingness to spew talking points that are patently ridiculous makes for disbelieving laughter from the rest of the panel.
Glad to know he has a grown up side. Sorry I missed it.
I saw most of the program this morning, and Juan was pretty damn good. And I ran out of good smoke about a week ago.
I only got as far as the part where Karl Rove had to slap him down for spewing the Democrat/Communist Party line about how “you were in the WH when the mortgage collapse happened and you never saw it coming.”
Maybe he got “even-handed” after that, but I didn’t stick around to see it.
Juan did a great job hosting for O’Reilly. He’s one of the libs I like a lot, even though I disagree with most of what he says. I think he’s a good man.
I admit I was surprised to see Juan subbing for BOR.
It would be interesting to see Williams leave the Rat plantation and their damned "talking points". One has to wonder just how much crap a person can eat.
Well, there are a lot of people that wonder about that, and Williams got what he needed from Rove by drawing him out about it. True it’s a Liberal POV, but taht’s the point.
Rove got his answer out, Williams didn’t talk over it.
Williams also went on a tear about the youth violence in Chicago and he put both the Rev and the Obama apologist on the spot about it. Not to mention Obama who seems to forget the Chicagoans who aren’t part of his politiucal Machine and can’t do anything for *him*.
It’s not the first time he’s subbed for BOR but the last time I saw him do so, As far as I was concerned it was all FUBARed, and I changed the channel after about 15 minutes.
After the beginning segment with Karl Rove, I turned it off. He just jumped all over Rove for no reason
ROTF!!!
I saw the same program and I too was impressed with Mr. Williams. Maybe this is his way of convincing the higher ups at FOX News that he should get his own show.
That said, he has shown a tenacity for rejecting the truth and going back to the liberal well for more koolaid.
Now I am sorry I changed channel when I saw he was guest hosting. Next time I will give him a chance.
I’d need a lot more convincing before I’d be convinced he was ready for Prime Time, 5 days a week.....Just sayin... >8o)
This administration surely has led to his conversion from simply spewing talking points. The reality and belief systems of the left are disintegrating before their eyes.
Some on the left are not taking it well, others are mature enough to admit it’s not working.
