The worst ski jumper, ever. He was a joke who somehow got to "compete" in the Winter Olympics some twenty years ago.
I think it was quite a bit longer than twenty years ago. Wasn't it Eddie's spectacular crash off the ski jump that was accompanied by Wide World of Sports "the agony of defeat" narration in their intro?
I may have my references mixed up. I was thinking of "Eddie the Eagle." So I googled, and Eddie the Eagle was Eddie Edwards, and yes, he was the worst ski jumper ever. He routinely jumped about 2/3 the distance of the other competitors, and he wore these goofy aviator goggles. See this link: Eddie the Eagle

The "Agony of Defeat" ski crash was someone entirely different.

The description of the reaction to the BC question by the reporter is very telling, I wish I had seen that myself! These thin-skinned RULER wannabes bear watching. There are some that think those Mussolini look-alike shots are somehow put on but they are real and they reflect the inner person very well.
I’m getting up in age and I’ve seen a lot of newsreel stuff, now thankfully many are lot preserved on youtube but as a youngster was shocked at Il Duce’s arrogant poses.

I haven’t figured out why we trust anyone, including Gallup. Who’s to say who’s biased or even corrupt anymore.
