Russia (left) and Alaska (right), with the Diomede Islands in the middle...

And don't forget about the classified briefings she regularly received from the Alaskan Air Defense Command and DoD by virtue of her role as governor.

Of course she did. Alaska is on the front lines of America's defense and as Commander in Chief of the AK Guard she often received military briefings. Alaska is also next to Canada and she had to deal with that nation as well.

Whatever.

Reality is on Wednesday 23 September, two US Politicians gave speeches on world geopolitics.

One presented a willingness to engage with other nations combined with a strong proclamation of the principle of Liberty (and a smidgen of "Mr Gorbachev, take down this Wall").

The other was a mea cupla by a pretty boy to the United Nations Dictator Section.
