On the last thread , the discussion centered around the best looking car ever produced in America. After almost 4,000 views and 225 comments and/or opinions, and some great pictures of the classics, it's time to move onto the muscle cars.
Now, granted, the Gremlin, Pinto and Pacer would be near the top of the list, but let's use our imagination and move beyond those shining examples of Detroits ingenuity.
Let's move onto Saturday nights, the way they used to be. Saturday night high school football, bobby sox, drive-ins and showing off your newest muscle ride to your friends and classmates. Shake off the cobwebs of your memory.
What is your nominee for the greatest American muscle car ever produced?

What happened to it? If you wrecked it, my condolences; if you sold it, shame on you....;^)

I miss my 67 Cougar but it has a better home. I bought it from an uncle a few years ago. The only 60's car I've ever had. Maybe when things get better I can get another one. An Eliminator version would be a nice dream.
Back in the 80s, another uncle had a mint condition red 67 Chevelle SS. I miss that car. He doesn't.

If I can find it I will buy it back!

67 or 68 Camaro. Come on now. You can't leave out the sleeker and improved '69. Here's mine that came with a 327 that I rebuilt.

Hemi Cudas are great for outrunning Phantasm balls.

Anybody else see these recent car auction shows and say “Wow, I could have bought the same car years ago for a few hundred dollars” and now it’s selling for six figures?

Shweet!
What do you think of the new Camaros? I think they did a good job with the body lines, don’t know about their performance, though.
