Frankly, other than the pricing scheme, the phone home crap, and limits on numbers of times it can be activated, Windows 7 may save M$’s bacon. I’m a big fan of Linux but I’m impressed with Windows 7.

I'm very impressed with Windows 7 too.

I've been using it for 10 months on three different boxes and it hasn't missed a beat. Plays well with drivers and other programs.

People, I believe, will be impressed when they give it a shot.

I'll be able to buy licenses for all three computers for $150. I don't think that's bad. My son will get Windows 7 Pro at an educational rate of $29.
