I know you were so not looking forward to them going home :(

I didn’t do a dag gone thing yesterday!!!! Today’s the last Friday of the month and thus the Sons of the Legion’s turn to cook dinner there, so at least I get to go out tonight for a bit -— even if it is to cook :) And tomorrow is the annual picnic.

BTW, I got a refrigerator -— finally. Living out of coolers is fine for fishing and camping, but not as a way of life.

my news gets worse.........Ava’s mom and dad close on a house that sits an hour’s drive away from me today. I am happy for them.....but it’s bitter sweet. I will miss Ava and Maya so much. they are like my own grandchildren, and their parents like our own children by now.
