Bill Cosby agrees with Jimmy Carter (America racist for disliking Obama policies)

agree with President Carter that racism is playing a role in recent outbursts against President Obama. During President Obama’s speech on the status of health care reform, some members of congress engaged in a public display of disrespect. While one Representative hurled the now infamous “you lie” insult at the President, others made their lack of interest known by exhibiting rude behavior such as deliberately yawning and sending text messages.

Health care reform is the most important domestic issue facing America today. Disease does not discriminate. African American, White, Asian, Latino, Republican, Democrat, no one in America is immune. So it seems obvious that a debate on health care reform should not include views born solely of partisanship or bigotry.

Various polls prior to the election indicated that between five and ten percent of Americans would never vote for an African American president. That number, of course, only includes those who actually admitted to their prejudice. How many others harbored such feelings but did not respond honestly when asked the question? And how many people oppose Obama’s plan because the President is African American?

In "Birth of a Nation," D.W. Griffith used white actors in black face to portray black legislators as having low intelligence and acting like fools. Today, we have a band of real life congressional fools seemingly bent on blocking any meaningful reform of the health care system. But if we allow even one American to die simply because he or she cannot afford treatment, we are creating a shameful scenario that could aptly be called “Death of a Nation.”

When I hear Mr. Cosby talk like that, I wish I could get back every dollar I spent on his records and undo every minute I spent watching his shows all the way back to I Spy. When Bill Cosby tried to give some direction to people on proper behavior, I favored what he was doing.

Carter is a political vamp. When Cosby backs him, I start to wonder if he has lost some cerebral acumen. Or is it he was hit so hard on trying to give some direction, that he acceded to them. Either way, he lost his credibility with both sides now.

“His wife immediately blamed racism and said America is a racist country.”

His son was shot by a Russian hoodlum. Race had nothing to do with it. Target of opportunity for a thug had EVERYTHING to do with it.

“’’e was the angriest young man I’d ever met.” — actor Robert Culp, in talking about working with Bill Cosby on ‘I Spy.’”

I heard the same thing about Harry Belafonte. Back in the 1960s it was a not-so-secret secret that Harry had a ‘tude.

I don’t know, but I know I loved Picture Pages. What in this rant does not belong Mr. Cosby?

Blacks are socialized completely differently than White Americans. To Blacks social is political. Looking for handouts and to be in power to give handouts is known as “not forgetting where you came from.” In general, this is the Black identity. There are exceptions to everything and blacks call exceptions Uncle Toms. I am not going to clarify these exceptions in everything that follows. Know I don’t mean everybody of a race is the way I am describing. I am talking about the majority influence.

Cosby is a liberal in economics but a tad more conservative socially. He sees the rejection of Obama’s authoritative socialism as a rejection of his black indenity or his blackness. Blacks are a minority and the impose socialism on the cities they control. They live in the authorative dream of the desegregation era where they were able to boss around whites and have the courts “make them share.” They had Whites scared with race targeted crime and riots - racial intimidation of violence. They call it “social justice.” When whites leave, their cities fail (see Detroit and every other city until Reagan came along).

When whites had enough of being victimized by Black crime and changed the sentencing power of liberals in crime, that period of authorative Black power over whites stopped. From the 60’s up through the early 80’s more whites were murdered by Blacks than were soldiers killed in the Viet Nam war. Think about that. By the time Reagan came to power, whites had had enough of the liberals’ race game. They sued in courts against reverse discrimination and had their rights re-instated and many stopped cooperating with racial preferences. I call this the post de-segregation era.

White Americans see Black dominance and socialism as something foreign to their culture and constitutional freedom. They put up with it in the 60’s and 70’s but by the 80’s were done being the Liberal’s white race whipping boys. Freedom to Whites has no color or is inclusive of all colors.

Whites and Blacks are separate in social, culture and mind, still. White Americans came from roots of struggle and freedom. Blacks came for roots of being owned and abused; housed and fed. Whites are socialized to be opportunity minded and to struggle to be self reliant and successful in life. Blacks are socialized to be welfare minded and to struggle to change Whites/America to keep them more food and better housing. Whites look at being housed and fed by the government as oppression. We don’t do well under the racial contol of the elite in the name of social justice.

The White culture and roots is totally differnet than the Black culture and roots. We have totally different expectations and meanings in life. Cosby sees our rejection of Obama’s black agenda as racist - whites refusing to do what they should do - surrender their individual freedom to Blacks so Blacks can rule over Whites for a change.

Cosby thinks if we were non-racist, we would go ahead with Black social justice and do as we are told. It will be interesting to see if Obama tries to re-instate a de-segregation era abuse of power upon whites in the name of race. His guys at FCC and in the Justice Department talk like that is what they want to do.

Woodrow Wilson called “Birth of a Nation” a great movie.

Bill, why don’t you skip a few half smokes at Ben’s Chili Bowl and establish a fund at Howard University Hospital for the treatment of the uninsured in DC. Pat Sajak has a whole pavillion named after him at the Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD.

As I recall Bill was considering buying NBC at one time, so I don’t think he has a money problem.
