Romney was the least Liberal of the bunch which isn’t a Conservative endorsement. A Mormon George Bush at best. You can blame Urkel on one George W Bush. Refused to cut spending, refused to veto Campaign Finance Reform thus elevating McLoser, refused to dis the ‘Rats, and the final straw was signing the first bailout. Bush drove the party as far left as it will ever be. Conservates are rightly making a tactical retreat. RINO’s are caught in the crossfire. The RINO purge is on.

>This "board" isn't for Republicans. It is for conservatives. We don't make excuses for Republicans who aren't conservative. We don't carry water for liberals with a magic R next to their names.

>In the short run, McCain and Romney would have been less disruptive ... but in their potential, and the potential of any big government "moderate" Republican for long-term damage to the future hope for America, they pose a bigger danger than Obama. THEY are the problem, and clothespin-voting is why they're the problem. I have done enough clothes-pin voting now to have finally figured out that it is engaging in Einstein's definition of insanity.

>I will apply what I've learned and when Romney zealots focus on getting big-government politicians in office, I will VOTE AGAINST THEM. And I will be joined by millions of Republicans and conservatives who want a party that stands for GETTING GOVERNMENT OUT OF OUR HAIR. Romney is demonstrably a proponent of bigger government and more government authority over our lives. He deserves to be rejected. He is a loser for the GOP, and he represents WHY the GOP is so weak that few are rallying behind it as it stands now.

>Almost all the active politicians are laying low, though, staying under the radar, waiting to see which way the battle goes before picking a side. Romney is one of those. I have no use for any of them.

>For those "conservative" media elites that insist on pushing Romney on us--a pox on you. You are going to end up dividing the party just when we need to unite.

>of course they'll accuse us of throwing the election because they're too fearful to come to terms with the fact that the GOP is one seriously out of touch and disillusioned group... evidenced by the way they're lining up behind Romney. If they do this, they're doing the equivalent of signing their own political death warrant... because we won't support them...no matter what... and no amount of bitching, crying, and whining by those who do support them will sway us this time.

>I REJECT Romney and Whitman and Schwarzenegger and any other Republican who maintains or expands government, even if he/she does it more "efficiently" or "leaner." You get the Magic R types saying, "I'll make a leaner government." No, what we need is LESS government. A leaner government would just be more businesslike and efficieint at repressing freedom.

>The message to Republicans of ALL persuasions should be clear: if you are not conservative, if you are playing 'Let's Make A Deal' with the 'Rats, if you 'go along to get along', then you are NOT a Republican, you have no business IN the Republican Party, and you need to GET OUT NOW!!!

>Conservates are rightly making a tactical retreat. RINO’s are caught in the crossfire. The RINO purge is on.
