On The Road Again - Songs To Drive By To
Blogcritics music ^ | March 5, 2007 | Laron Cue

Whether you’re taking that cross country trip you always planned, out on a scenic Sunday drive through the country, or fighting road rage on a jammed up highway, these songs are the perfect soundtrack to the streets. Pop in you favorite Willie Nelson Greatest Hits CD (ha) and get back on the road again!

I had to cut this short as I found tons of songs that could fit this post. I left a lot of great stuff off for now, let me know which ones you think should go on future post like this.

Sir Mix-A-Lot - "My Hooptie" Rush - "Red Barchetta" Creedence Clearwater Revival- "Around the Bend" Eddie Kendricks-"Keep On Truckin' "

I absolutely cannot abide Willie Nelson. I would happily use every CD of his I come across as shotgun targets thrown out of the trap, kind of like a extra large clay pigeon.

Now that I have had my rant about Willie Nelson, let's get down to cases:

"Why don't we do it in the Road?"....Beattles.

Or is that the kind of driving you were looking for?

So did the Big Bopper whom I prefer, although Cochran had the first one out. Know your oldies before you jump someone:)

I’d have to agree with President O, Kayne’s an a-hole but there’s no denying he sure has the gift of rhyme. When we owned a Saturn Sky, I’d replay that song over and over while trying to keep my foot off the gas.
