It depends on the medication mine is a generic that does a good job of controlling my blood sugar ,if you have not tried different meds I strongly urge you to do so. It is cheaper for me not to use my insurance as my copay is higher than the drug.

I did try others first. This is the only one that really controls it with one pill a day. Otherwise I was living on Tums and being miserable anyway. Like I said, I can afford it, but it’s expensive.
