The problem is getting a judge to agree that a plaintiff has standing to compel discovery of the underlying HI vital records that would reveal just what type of report of birth was made for baby Obama. This requires that the prima facie evidence of the HI short form be overcome by some alternative evidence acceptable to the court, such as a Kenyan BC authenticated according to FRE 902(3).

Kenyan BC authentication requires cooperation of the Kenyan authorities who are notoriously corrupt, likely motivated to hide alleged evidence of Obama’s Kenyan birth if it suites them (bribes?) and in the case of Odinga, Odinga told the BBC that he is Obama’s grandfather is the uncle of Odinga’s mom.

I am hoping that the provenance of the 1964 “Lavender” BC can establish authenticity (proof of age of paper, inks, chain of custody) without resort to the current Kenyan gov’t.
