As long as it is a fresh road kill, like venison, eat away. In Michigan deer are considered vermin there are so many...I saw one get hit in front of my house and called the police because the guy behind the car that hit it stopped and said it was still alive...One cop car came to check it out and said it was dead, then another cop showed up to look it over. They asked me if I wanted it and I said no. One of the cops left and came back about 20 minutes later and threw it in back of his pickup truck...
A righteous road kill can taste great....but with maggots on it that is a no no..
