My dad was in artillary, (forward observer, radioman) he was attached to 5th army in Italy. Once in France/Germany he was in one of Pattons units.

Their logo had a rhino on it. Can't remember the unit.

Yes, they found a body, in pretty advanced decay.

The British 1st Armored Division had a rhino as their badge. I don't recall an American Armored group that did, but nobody in our family has been cavalry or armored since the Civil War, so what do I know?
