Ray Clark Was Charged Today In The Murder of Annie Le, Who Was Set to Be Married Last Weekend
Conflicting images of accused murderer Raymond Clark III are emerging in the wake of his arrest in the strangulation of Yale grad Annie Le.
There is the Ray Clark his high school friends remember: competive baseball player who was respectful of authority, volunteered to help the homeless and raised money for cancer stricken patients. He was also a member of the Asian Awareness Club.
Others, mostly those from more recent days, saw a darker side of the 24-year-old Clark: withdrawn, officious at work, and very controlling of his fiance. There is even a police report suggesting that Clark was once menacing enough for his high school girlfriend to call the cops.
Ryan Santoro, who says he's known Clark since they were both 12 and played on a Little League baseball team together in Branford, Conn., said that he never thought of Clark as someone who would be involved in a murder case.
"I never would have thought that he would have done anything like this," said Santoro, who played alongside Clark for five years. "Most of the guys we played with are pretty shocked at the [accusations against Clark]."
Santoro described Clark as a "pretty good ballplayer" who had a competitive streak.
"He cared about winning," said Santoro. "He wouldn't have played if he didn't."
Asked whether he recalls Clark having a short fuse on the field or off, Santoro said "no."
"He was a pretty nice kid," said Santoro. "He was very good with people who were older, he respected authority."

Uh.....
My home town.
but these days, even eyes lie sometimes.
Anyway, they said his neighbors cheered when he was arrested. You never know who your friends are until you're arrested, I guess.
some really gruesome stuff goes down in ct.
I guess he was a litte TOO aware of at least one of them.
And, that's just at The State House!!
I wouldn’t read too much intot that. They might have been aware he was a suspect. Obviously, you wouldn’t want a potential murderer in your neighborhood.
They let him go, and then he checked into a motel. Then they arrested him.
Drugs make the difference.
Don't know if this is true, but another site reported that Le treated the animals roughly and not according to guidelines. Thus, I wondered if Clark might be part of PETA. Also, was his fiance in the building at the same time?
The press is going to have to keep digging until they can show that he was in some way conservative.
ABC News has now told us more about Ray Clark than they ever did about Van Jones or AC0RN.
How long before they blame the murder on Rush or Glenn?
Was this Ray Clark Anne’s fiance, or what?
Perhaps he just had a really bad case of yellow fever.
It helps people who are unaware they are Asians become aware of that fact.
He was mad at her for not cleaning the mice cages well enough. His role at the lab was more of a custodial one.
