A new Investor’s Business Daily poll of more than 1,300 physicians finds that nearly two-thirds (65%) don’t back ObamaCare, more than 70% say the government cannot provide insurance coverage for 47 million additional people and save money without harming quality, and 45% of doctors say they “would consider leaving their practice or taking an early retirement” if the liberal health care plan passes.

Earlier this week, as the front-page story in today’s Investor’s Business Daily noted, the Los Angeles Times ran a front-page story touting the American Medical Association (AMA)’s backing of President Obama’s health care plans, while a National Public Radio publicized a poll funded by a pro-ObamaCare group to claim that “nearly three-quarters of doctors said they favor a public option.”

I know that if I was a doctor I’d be all for seeing my workload go through the roof at the same time my compensation got slashed. Who wouldn’t jump at a great deal like that?

What luck. After workig for the Fed Gov for essentially twenty years through great effort I have finally gotten a start in private practice...only to see this happen. No,I won't work for the Fed Gov again. Don't think so. Can you imagine how much worse it will be when half the specialists have retired and the other half limit how many patients they will see to fit themeager compensation they will receive? If it isn't hard enough now to get your patients in even with personal phone calls and such it will be impossible then. No it realy won't be worth the effort. Time to consider a new profession.

you must engage the clintonian parser for this to make perfect sense. the poll was conducted of FOREIGN doctors in third world countries

after all, if they asked American doctors if they would want to have 15% more patients (minimally) and have their compensation reduced by 50% ... while jacking up their income taxes... odds are good they wouldn’t go for it.
