NEW YORK - Your shower may not be getting you as clean as you think with a U.S. study finding many showerheads are dirty and may be covering you in a daily dose of bacteria that could make you sick.

Ohhhhhhhh, that's slick! I'm going to remember that one. ;^)
Ruh Roh, I smoke AND eat McDonalds.......
That is what I do. Use an elastic hair band to secure the vinegar-filled baggie to the shower, go do something else, come back in 30 minutes and all the scale is gone. Germs, too, I suppose.
How did I ever live to be 66, not to mention that I am so rarely ill and haven’t been to the doctor for anything requiring an antibiotic in over 4 years.
I just removed and gave my shower head a good industrial-grade (Impact) disinfectant treatment. Also sprayed as far as I could into the feed pipe.
Recently I’ve had some sort of lung condition for which a course of antibiotics seems to have been effective. Is this the cause? Who knows, but I can eliminate it as a possibility in the future.
Yes. You have to go in with heavy artillery. :-)
It might not do anything about the germ problem, except for eliminating all thoughts about it, a perfectly good outcome.
Biofilters can be an effective way to remove pollutants from water. Slime is good.
Can I get a tax credit for a new showerhead?
You know S-Rah and Mark are coming over here next month, right? Mark has work in Bristol (which is about 3 hrs south of where I am) and S-Rah is gonna tag along, so I’m gonna go down and meet with them and “keep Sarah company”...we’re gonna go to Stonehenge, YAY!!! My ex Chris now lives in that area, so maybe I’ll look him up to say “Howdy”! :-)
