It is unfortunate that not enough married couples open their homes to these orphans. The world would be a much better place if every child was living in a happy two parent home.
My oldest friend in the world adopted 2 kids from The Ukraine about 20 years ago . The son - Vitaly - is a computer whiz and has a great job . The daughter - who had a club foot but had it operated on , successfully , thanks to a the state of CT ( my friend and hsi wife both work at UConn ) got knocked up at 18 but apparently is happily married .
