Eastern Europe not feeling the love from Obama

Czechs feel betrayed, Poles irked, Romanians slighted. Ask them who's to blame, and the answer may come as a surprise: President Barack Obama. George W. Bush fawned over Eastern Europe, and its leaders rushed to join his post-9/11 "coalition of the willing." Now many—officials and ordinary citizens alike—are grumbling over what they perceive as the Obama administration's neglect.

It's a startling shift in a region long accustomed to cozy ties with the United States. "Now we see the beginning of indifference," said Tudo Salajean, a Romanian historian and researcher.

Eastern Europe threw off the chains of communism. That puts them on Obama's $*** list.

GW ‘fawned’ over them because he understands completely what they went through. Leaders joined the coalition because they understand that to simply try to ‘alliviate’ over actually defeating tyranny will never do anything to actually ending the tyranny.

Zero is neglecting them because he is trying to turn the clock back to when his ilk were fawned over. Zero lacks the sophistication to understand that Eastern Europe is emerging in its own right now along with Asia.

Because they are digging the Free market (Capitalism) and hate the commie dictators that ruled them for too long. Just a guess, but bam-bam doesn’t like it that they aren’t licking his boots either.

There’s a street in Rijeka (Croatia) named for a Republican politician and it’s not for Reagan or G. W. Bush. It’s for Fiorello La Guardia.

I guess the formula is: Friend to Bush = antagonist for Hussein.

For eight years the leftists built up a mighty construct of hate, fear and loathing of all things Bush. We have all seen it and the irrationality of it. The current crop of leftists in the administration is not immune to this (have, in fact, been among its chief architects) and so the irrationality colors how they think and what they do. There is more than a little madness in their actions.

Those Obama administration cutbacks in rendition payments aren’t helping Eastern European countries either. They had a nice cottage industry going on there.
