Jerks. These people should be mocked, ridiculed and spat upon. They can go move to any number of foreign countries in which they will never have to hear "God Bless America" again.
I hope the team countersues the hell out of these losers. There is no free speech in private settings.

as silly as this is, it wasn’t the national anthem. but it’s a private business and they have the right to remove anyone who doesn’t act a certain way.

This sounds like a made up piece of crap story. Oh come on!! I have been to that stadium and they say “no cursing, booing, etc” but people do it all the time and are not ejected. This story smells!!!
To: JoeProBono
1. “God Bless America” ain’t the national anthem
2. these clowns were looking for a fight or some notoriety. 3. They harmed nobody
4. I wouldn’t cross the street to pee on ‘em if they were on fire, but jeez...

They shouldn't have been thrown out, because that's exactly the type of attention the a-holes wanted.

I see this as a great reason why ballparks should NOT be paid for by the taxpayer.
I hate sports, this is one of my ‘Dexter’ moments. I simply have no interest at all in sports. I could not possibly care less about who plays, who wins and who dies on the field. I am more concerned about the welfare of the squirrel in my neighbor's tree than I am about any sports team in the world.
Yet, Uncle Sam puts a gun to my head and takes my money to fund an arena that I will never use, to host a game owned by Billionaires, that generates Billions every year, and I see nothing in return.
How about the teams fund their own darn arena? There would still be an arena; after all Capitalism works. Play any game you want, I don't care.
As long as you put a gun to my head, and every other taxpayer in the state to pay for that arena - you cannot force everyone in that arena to abide by your religion, faith or beliefs. No Hanukkah, Christmas, Ramadan, Thanksgiving, Lent or other religious celebrations.

The purchase of a ticket is a contract to let them view the game. They should have told them they have to stand for the song.
