Word For The Day, Monday, 9/14/09

In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".
muliebrity;noun
1. womanly nature or qualities. 2. womanhood
Etymology: 158595; < LL muliēbritās womanhood, equiv. to L muliēbri(s) womanly (deriv. of mulier woman) + -tās -ty 2
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.
The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-)
Practice makes perfect.....post on....
“Is any part of the phrase “as stubborn as” prohibibitted today?” Robt plaintively asks from the doghouse as St Ronnie muliebritively decides not to change her mind about the colors for the (now-spare) bedroom electric plug covers?
pretty funny. boy cosby was young back then wasn’t he?
Spare bedroom? Did she kick you out of your own bedroom to the real dog house in the backyard?
Sorry I have been so absent lately
whatsamatter? joo get the wrong color? A+++
good to have you back. don’t be a stranger. it’s ok to be STRANGE, bc most here are, but don’t be a stranger : )
Good sentence! Why in the world would one change the colors? That would mean buying new plug covers, and that’s a waste of money that could be spent on wine!
ROFLMSS!!!!!!!!
I made wine for the first time this summer and except for the 5 week fermenting time it actually cost less than the last plug covers I bought!!!!!
The stuff was so good, I started 2 more bottles this morning!!!!
Good for you!
(Love the tagline, btw.)
I was really amazed at how well it turned out. I made it with apple juice and it came out like a very dry chardonnay.
As to the tagline, I saw a bumper sticker yesterday that said “Republicans for Voldemort”..............the car was in our church’s parking lot. The northeast lib invasion is creeping ever further south on the DelMarVa peninsula. The owner of the vehicle is from New Jersey, and since they haven’t yet changed their tags some other folks just thought it was for a candidate in NJ, so I didn’t dissuade them of that concept.
I love our Church, but I’m surrounded by LIBERALS.

No, no, Robt whines.... Nothong so drastic. The room was Jean's - She's now off full-time as a professor in West GA, so the room's available for playing in (er, with). 8<)
The original walls were a flat off-white with the builder's 1970’s-era beige power outlet covers and wall switches, white ceiling fan and light, and darker stained wood baseboards, door trim, and window trim.
New drywall is a very light blue, with contrasting darker blue baseboards. Window and door trim left as-found since they match the rest of the interior, and look pretty good.
So that leaves the small trim: St Ronnie wants the power covers and AC cover to be the same light blue as the walls, or the same shiny white as the built-in library shelves and fan; and I think they should become the same darker stain as the window trim and door, or the same darker blue color as the baseboard trim.
(Robt watches bottles. Patiently watches bottles. (Well, not so patiently ....))
When our denomination started the liberal crap, we left - I even understand our old church in West Texas, that we loved so much, has a liberal minister....how they can sit and listen to that crap astonishes me.
good for jean! seems like just yesterday she was the little band geek obsessed with Lord of the Rings, now she is a professor!
Sunrise, sunset
I'm probably going to get pretty beat up about this, but I agree with you.
There are liberals in my church, too. I focus on the good things they do and try to ignore anything else.
