The cutout Obama with the “lie, lie, lie” teleprompter is great!!
Great one. I was at our local one - in the rain.
Very nice video. Recommended!
Great video! They hear us now!
Well done! BRAVO!
We were at the FR Convention and the March. I was in the elevator at the hotel on Fri. and some guy mentioned they were expecting 250-500K folks, at that time. I was blown away thinking we'd have that many!
Imagine my sheer joy when they announced that ABC was reporting over a million and a half!! All I know is that there were people as far as the eye could see. The plan had been for folks to kind of line up near the flags of their States. HA! We never even made it to the rally point, and when we came out of the Federal Triangle Metro stop, there were folks in both directions up and down Pennsylvania Ave. We thought we'd get in 'near the end', but we stepped out of the March for a potty break up near the Capitol Ellipse. After we came back out of the Natl. Gallery of Art to rejoin the March, about 15 minutes later, there were even MORE people behind us than there seemed to be in front!
We worked our way up and around the Ellipse, into the center area, and ended up about 500' from the stage. Looking back, there were people well down past the pool, past the CNN bus and onto the Mall itself. it was just SO astounding, but extremely gratifying to know that many folks decided to show up to make their views known.
We also noticed, immediately after the event, that the grounds were completely CLEAN! There were large trash bins set up outside the grounds, and these were full of signs, and because there weren't enough bins, some of the signs were on the ground, but that was the ONLY place there was any loose trash. We took everything out that we brought in with us. There wasn't a lot for the DC trash folks to do, after our gathering.
As was I.
