This is the ONLY 9/11 Daily Cartoon Strip that I have found. I am asking people to go to the link for his traffic count. This is a CONSISTENT CONSERVATIVE / LIBERTARIAN oriented strip. Highest recommendation!

I saw the shadow said “911”, but aside from the significance of this day I don’t see how it ties in with the picture?
There’s a guy with two twins, and their shadow says 911 — and?

I guess if you haven’t been following the series, it probably doesn’t mean too much to you ...

Ahhh... there must be some context from previous cartoons that I missed. Thanks for the clarification.

I would be overjoyed to see any others. I grant that the ‘8th’ year does not resonate but still to ignore it almost completely? Don’t have the ‘editorial cartoon’ list that I can look at (boy do I miss the one that used to be here on FreeRepublic). I hurt every time I see the photos of the day. I believe that the MSM wants to strip all the deep feeling from the remembrance of the day because it is so inconvenient to their desires.

Teach your children about that day and the times we live in. May the world always remember.

I am searching for a poem that I am sure I read here on FR (probably in 2001).
it is about the firefighters who perished in the towers on 9/11 as they climbed up the stairs.
it progresses through the ranks Lt to Capt to Chief and ends with the angles calling the firefighters to continue upward.
a link, the title... I appreciate any help in finding it.

Ahhh... there must be some context from previous cartoons that I missed. At the comic site, you will see a tab (below the comic) "Family". Click there and then hit the "About" tab above the top of the Comic and you will get a precis of the four main characters. You can also go to the "Archive" to follow the entire length of the comic. Worth your attention.

... it progresses through the ranks Lt to Capt to Chief and ends with the angles calling the firefighters to continue upward.I will work on it but I may be visually oriented because what you mentioned brought a very similar editorial cartoon that showed a grimy fireman climbing through smoke into the angel-filled clouds.

Cheers for that! I’ve just worked my way backwards to December 12 2008 for some context. It’s a good cartoon! I’m going to work my way all the way back to 2002 in my spare time, and put it on my regular reading list.
Thanks for your help: I must have sounded rather thick not “getting” today’s cartoon.
FRegards!

THANK YOU! I had loved Pookie18's posts here and had lost track of where she went when she left (I understand why but really missed it). To find it on http://www.therightreasons.net makes this day a bit brighter!

I must have sounded rather thick not getting todays cartoon. Nope, nowhere close, just that single panel could confuse any newbie.
Aren't you up a bit late down there in very late winter? (Yes, I've chatted with you before and recognized, after a bit, your id). Cheerio
