Say Pete, I hates to ruin a good story, but this future Darwin Award recipient was more than likely stealing copper. Utils around the country are having a problem with this.

I do have an open mind however, and it occurs to me that this might be a way to field cook a rabbit quickly. After the rocket scientist is released from hospital, I would like to interview him.
