I just posted this article about possible dimensional bleed over here: Mysteries in the Mountains: A real-life Twilight Zone in Southeastern Arizona

The area in the article is where they used to mine for gold - and gold is found where there are lots of quartz deposits. The electromagnetic spectrum is thus in flux?

I read that article a few years ago. It wouldn’t surprise me. There are many, many first hand accounts of time slips and alternate realities. I’ve had a couple of odd ones myself, messing around in places that were associated with high levels of strangeness and paranormal activity. One of them, much like the Skinwalker Ranch that Bigelow studied in Utah, tapered off to normal after a couple of years of really strange stuff. If you haven’t read the account of that study in Utah, I’d highly recommend Hunt for the Skinwalker by Colm Kelleher.
