Hmmm . . . I thought the tax on alcohol had gone up. I remember when a 6-pack of Boston Lager was $4.99. Now it's anywhere from $8.99 to $9.49 in the grocery store.
I also remember when a bottle of Far Niente Chardonnay was $5. Boy, I wish I had bought a few (hundred) cases of it then!

I had a Chimay blue tonight actually. Not American, and not cheap. But awfully good.
