FReeper rabscuttle385 posted this article earlier today, and I also saw it mentioned on FaceBook AND in the TPE website/media section.

Yet, when I went to read the article myself this is all I found:



Could the article have been pulled because of the outrageous headline? ('takes aim' as in a GUN??)

I'm not familiar with the CNN website or the political ticker section, is this normal that a story just disappears into thin air?

Thanks. Did you catch the article before it disappeared? I just read about 20-25 comments (comments now closed for some reason) and of course the majority were liberals liberally throwing around the disgusting ‘tea bag’ phrase...maybe because they actually DO what that phrase means in their world? Wonder if originally there were more conservative comments there than there are now?

No p48, I hadn't read the comments before - I just went over there to track it down & CNN comments are always so ridiculously juvenile I usually avoid them.

But it looks like most of the comments there now (44 still up, but closed to additions) are the usual mindless vulgar drivel offered in lockstep obeisance to the Obama administration's instructions to paint everybody who disagrees with their agenda as a bigot. In fact, judging from the repetitive word choices and suspiciously similar syntax & punctuation 'signatures', it was only a couple of people posing as a multitude of different posters at that. Yawn.

Honestly, the Obamabots' race card has been so desperately overused at this point, it's delaminating right before their very eyes and if they weren't so blinded by bigotry themselves, they'd see that they've rendered it worthless. Practically the whole country rolls its collective eyes whenever they trot it out now. Which, come to think of it, might not be such a bad thing after all; in the space of a a year, they've managed to make their casual accusations of racism so ubiquitous in the national discourse that the charge has essentially been rendered impotent.

re: comments—that’s what I figured, either the same few people cutting and pasting, or somewhere in DUmmyland there’s a master copy that lots of people are cutting and pasting. ::rolls eyes::

re: the kiddos—thank you! We think so too! I really need to update my page AND my blog! Got lots of new pictures since the twins turned 1 in July! But only so many hours in the day. :-)
