Canadians keep trying to jump that shark.
It doesn’t occur to them that if Africans are coming to Canada they aren’t looking for Africa. They are looking for what Canadians have.
Its one thing to be self-effacing. Its another to be so self-effacing that you miss the plot altogether.

Great. They can learn all about the Ice People and the Sun People, and how Cleopatra was really African and not Greek, and how the ancient Egyptians had airplanes and used mental telepathy to communicate.
Just what young black Canadians need to know to make it in this modern world of ours.

Afro-centric education is needed in Canada to ensure a steady supply of new entrants to a thriving black underclass.

Segregated schools? Now there’s a unique idea.

Good Evening Sir,
My name is John MacDonald-Odwinga and I am a former student of the Canadian Africentric School.
I am writing to you today because of the need for assistance with monies in the amount of $2.5 Million Canadian Dollars that the former headmaster deposited in an account with Toronto-Dominion Bank before being arrested for improperly using government funds to sponsor a large goat barbeque for his extended family.
etc. etc.

I’ll bet they haven’t polled potential employers to see how many of them are hoping to hire a graduate of an Afrocentric High School who knows everything there is to know about Afro-Canadian history ... rather than hiring someone who can read, write, do math, and follow instructions.

The unified spirit of Quebec meets the refined civility of Kenya.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

I bet that less than 60% graduate anyway.

The way Zero wants to adopt Canadian government ideas on the environment and health care makes me wonder if he will be pushing a "separate but equal" school idea here.
I think its been tried before and found to be a bad idea. Of course, that hasn't stopped a Leftist from picking up a bad notion and pushing it.
