Telling congress to butt out is just what the Dr. ordered....
That will send them a message that will help us get rid of the czars
But then again, the Democrat party has no problem with the czars at all.
Anyone detect a little hint of DICTATORSHIP?
He should be much more concerned about the U.S. consumer who has dropped out of the economy. Who in the world would buy a vehicle from Government Motors?
We know how to run things. Stuff like the constitution just gets in our way. Time to retire it it and move on./s
If Congress didn't mandate the living snot out of the big 3, they wouldn't be in half the mess they are in.
In a little read brief interview in Detroit Business, Bill Ford was asked something to effect what is one thing we do not know about making cars. His answer, 1/2 the cost of a car is to meet Gov't requirements and lawsuit prevention and if my memory is correct is as expensive as the material cost to make it....
This man is exactly why we need no czars at all.
The elected representatives of America are the ones who we express ourselves to.
The czars are accountable to no one.
Cognress can tell the czars to jump in a lake, but will they??
Hey we don’t need no stinkin’ congress - we the Czars... we run the place.
There’s a whiff of fascism in the air.
"Ron Bloom is scheduled to become the Manufacturing Czar for the United States, and will retain his current position as U.S. Car Czar. He is currently working for the United States Department of the Treasury, serving as a member of the Auto Task Force created by President Barack Obama. He was previously the special assistant to the President of the United Steel Workers based out of Pittsburgh since 1996. Before that he worked as a Investment Banker. Bloom grew up in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania and is a graduate of Wesleyan University. He received an M.B.A. from the Harvard School of Business.
When he was a child, Bloom attended a Labor Zionist summer camp."
The money Obama’s commissar of automobiles is spending was authorized by Congress, and comes from us members of the proletariat. Don’t tell us to butt out, comrade.
By the way, I see that Cadillac is closing a large number of dealerships. More economic stimulus from Government Motors.
TAGGE: Impossible?! How will the Emperor maintain the control of Imperial bureaucracy?!
TARKIN: Senatorial representation has not been formally abolished. It has merely been superseded for the duration of the emergency. Regional Governors now have direct control and a free hand in administering their territories. From now on, fear will keep potential traitors in line.
