How much power do the Czars have? How many millions in stimulus money are they in charge of? Make no mistake, the reason for all of the Czar appointments is to circumvent the Constitution and to create an imperial Presidency. These Czars do not have to be approved by the Senate, nor do they have to answer questions posed by congress. Today Ron Bloom, the new car Czar was testifying before congress, and he basically told them to butt out of the auto buisness. So much for transparency:

Telling congress to butt out is just what the Dr. ordered....

That will send them a message that will help us get rid of the czars

If Congress was really concerned about all these czars, it could simply vote to not pay them.

But then again, the Democrat party has no problem with the czars at all.

He should be much more concerned about the U.S. consumer who has dropped out of the economy. Who in the world would buy a vehicle from Government Motors?

Most transparent Administration - EVER.

"Energy czar Carol Browner epitomized the secretive dealings of these offices when she advised auto industry executives this month to "to put nothing in writing, ever" about their meetings with her."

What a wet behind the ears little dumb @$$ this kid is.

If Congress didn't mandate the living snot out of the big 3, they wouldn't be in half the mess they are in.

In a little read brief interview in Detroit Business, Bill Ford was asked something to effect what is one thing we do not know about making cars. His answer, 1/2 the cost of a car is to meet Gov't requirements and lawsuit prevention and if my memory is correct is as expensive as the material cost to make it....

This man is exactly why we need no czars at all.

The elected representatives of America are the ones who we express ourselves to.

The czars are accountable to no one.

Cognress can tell the czars to jump in a lake, but will they??

He was previously the special assistant to the President of the United Steel Workers based out of Pittsburgh since 1996. Before that he worked as a Investment Banker. Bloom grew up in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania and is a graduate of Wesleyan University. He received an M.B.A. from the Harvard School of Business.

When he was a child, Bloom attended a Labor Zionist summer camp."

The money Obama’s commissar of automobiles is spending was authorized by Congress, and comes from us members of the proletariat. Don’t tell us to butt out, comrade.

By the way, I see that Cadillac is closing a large number of dealerships. More economic stimulus from Government Motors.

TARKIN: The Imperial Senate will no longer be of any concern to us. I have just received word that the Emperor has dissolved that misguided council permanently. The last remnants of the Old Republic have finally been swept away.

TAGGE: Impossible?! How will the Emperor maintain the control of Imperial bureaucracy?!

TARKIN: Senatorial representation has not been formally abolished. It has merely been superseded for the duration of the emergency. Regional Governors now have direct control and a free hand in administering their territories. From now on, fear will keep potential traitors in line.
