I believe Knoll, Inc. has a plant in or near Grand Rapids, MI. Knoll does a lot of high-end furniture.

The 3 biggest office furniture makers used to be Steelcase, Haworth, and Herman Miller, all of Michigan.
HON of Muscatine, Iowa is number 4 overall.
