Cherie Blair has revealed an unexpected upside to leaving Downing Street – her figure doesn’t get compared with that of Carla Bruni.
Speaking of French president Nicolas Sarkozy’s wife, who was famously photographed from behind on the steps of a Spanish palace in April, Mrs Blair said: ‘I am very happy to not have been in Downing Street when Carla Bruni came on an official visit.

I see that you're a big follower of the women's movement (in the Limbaugh sense).To me, the Fashionista threads are more about what First Ladies of the Western nations consider to be appropriate apparel on public occasions. Mrs. Sarkozy is a bit of a game-changer, but in a good way (strictly in terms of fashion and good taste).
