I was never a fan of Scotch until one day I was treated to Johnny Walker BLUE label. It's the smoothest blended Scotch I have ever tasted. Its expensive but since I don't drink daily, I will treat myself to one bottle (maybe two) a year. I don't know of anything that comes close to it. If anyone knows of one, please advise!

Yes, if you must drink blended Blue Label is the way to go. I much prefer the Speyside malts to the island malts (Islay Skye etc ) too peaty and harsh for my taste. If you have money to burn the Macallan is the way to go.
